Works are expected to start in late 2026. Sections of the park will be closed during the works.
What we’re doing
The works include:
- replacing old Ausgrid lights with new City of Sydney-owned lights to the pathways
- building new wide paths and stairs with handrails in the same alignment
- adding new turf and plants.
Why we’re doing this
The lighting and pathways were identified for upgrading as part of our ongoing renewal program.
