Construction of the Broadway cycle link
The path bypasses main roads and provides people who walk and ride with a safe and connected green corridor connecting Darlington and Ultimo through Chippendale.
Project Status: Completed
All works have been completed.
What we’re doing
The 1.5km streetscape upgrade includes footpath widening at intersections, trees to provide shade, better lighting, new pram ramps, extra crossing points and speed cushions.
The link connects Shepherd Street (from Wilson Street, Darlington), Myrtle, Meagher, Balfour and Jones streets to Mary Ann Street, Ultimo.
People who ride can use the Goods Line to reach Darling Harbour and the Kent Street cycleway.
