We have completed works to revitalise Penfold Lane and Hosking Place in the city centre.
What we’re doing
We have completed works to revitalise Penfold Lane and Hosking Place in the city centre. The improvements enhance the character of the laneways and make them safer and more inviting.
Works included:
- new stairs for improved safety and access
- high quality granite pavers along the laneway
- a raised road surface near Castlereagh Street to help slow traffic.
The revitalisation supports the George Street light rail project by creating a network of streets and laneways safer for walking.
