Works started in May 2023 and were completed in September 2023.

Why we’re doing this

We developed a concept plan for the park upgrade based on your feedback from our consultation in late 2020.  We then modified the design and in early 2021 asked the community for feedback. We used this feedback to refine the design, which Council approved in June 2021.

What we’re doing

The upgrade includes:

  • retaining the mature trees, adding understorey planting and improving the grass area
  • refurbishing the existing park benches and providing a new communal bench
  • replacing the swing and providing new nature play areas
  • refurbishing the fence
  • adding a kerb ramp and a speed hump to improve access and safety.
