Documents our internal reporting system, enabling council officials, including employees and councillors, to report serious wrongdoing.



  • The purpose of this policy is to document our internal reporting system which enables council officials, including our employees and councillors, to report serious wrongdoing without fear of reprisal.
  • This policy sets out what can be reported, who you can report serious wrongdoing to and how reports will be dealt with.
  • Employees are encouraged to raise matters of concern at any time with their supervisors, but also have the option of making a report about a public interest issue in line with this policy and the Public Interest Disclosures Act (PID Act).
