What we’re doing

We plan to upgrade Green Park in Darlinghurst. Your input will help us develop the concept design.

Why we’re doing this

We’re currently upgrading more than 35 parks across the City of Sydney’s area, from small pocket parks to larger neighbourhood parks.

We’re asking local community groups and residents for their input before we develop a concept design. We’re interested in understanding who uses the area, what works and what doesn’t. We’d also like to hear any ideas you have for the space.

The upgraded park will include a new AIDS memorial garden and restoration of the park’s bandstand.

Next steps

Later this year we’ll invite further community feedback on our concept design to upgrade the park.

A serene park with green grass, blooming flowers, mature trees and an ornate stone water bubble under a clear sky. The path leads to the historic bandstand in the centre of the park.
