Engagement report on revised plans for parking on streets in Green Square

From 20 May to 10 June 2021, we asked the community for feedback on some proposed changes to parking on streets in Green Square. This report details the outcomes of this work.

Proposed parking changes on streets in Green Square

These design changes were generally supported by the community:
- angled parking on Portman Street between Navins Lane and Frog Park Lane
- angled parking on Merton Street between Elizabeth and Portman streets
- angled parking on Hansard Street between Joynton and Dunning avenues.
Parking restrictions
Feedback on proposed changes to parking restrictions was more varied. The proposed restrictions below are informed by feedback we received during consultation, our neighbourhood parking policy and traffic and transport teams.
If an area is not listed below, current parking restrictions will remain in place. These changes will not affect existing disability and car share spaces in these locations.
