What we’re doing
The City of Sydney and Inner West Council invite you to help us plan for the emerging Tech Central health, education and innovation precinct.
Your feedback will help inform a plan for the area which covers parts of Camperdown and Forest Lodge in the City of Sydney area and parts of Annandale, Camperdown and Stanmore in the Inner West Council area.
We would like to hear what you love about the area, why it is a great place to live, work and visit, and what is needed to help make it a thriving health, education and innovation precinct.
The project will set a long-term planning vision for the precinct and consider changes to planning controls for parts of the Inner West Council area.
What is the vision for the Camperdown area?
Camperdown is part of the Tech Central precinct, previously the Camperdown-Ultimo collaboration area. The NSW Government is leading the coordination of Tech Central, the largest technology and innovation hub in Australia, extending from Central Station to Camperdown. It is also home to several large health and education institutions including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and The University of Sydney.
The vision for the Camperdown area is to grow as a health, education and technology hub. We would like to hear how we can plan this future growth and ensure the area has everything it needs to make it a great place to work, live and visit.
