Hyde Park stonework restoration

We repaired and restored the perimeter wall and sandstone features.

Project Status: Completed

The works were done in stages between May 2014 and October 2016. Minor stonework restoration was completed in early 2017.

What we’re doing

This conservation work focused on many of the park’s significant features.

We respected its heritage significance by matching the current character and details. Expert stonemasons undertook the works to restore and protect the sandstone features for future generations.
