Our future with artificial intelligence and its rise in China

International experts joined Lord Mayor Clover Moore on 9 April 2019 to discuss the growing use of artificial intelligence (AI) and examine how it is transforming business and society.


AI is the development of machines to imitate intelligent human behaviour. From self-driving cars to facial recognition technologies, AI is changing the way we live. The market is in its infancy, but China is forging ahead and becoming a leader in this field.


Robert Hsiung, managing director for Udacity in China, gave the keynote address on bridging the skills gap in a digital world.
