Why we’re doing this

In early 2020, 6 new pop-up cycleway connections were built to let people ride in more places and free up space on public transport and roads. This helps communities to return to work and local businesses safely, supporting NSW’s economic recovery.

Moore Park Road and Fitzroy Street – Council resolved that this cycleway will stay in place for up to 2 years while a new plan is developed for Oxford Street east between Taylor Square and Centennial Park. Sign up to have your say below.

Dunning Avenue – Council resolved that this cycleway will stay in place for up to 2 years while a new plan is developed. Sign up to have your say below.

Pyrmont Bridge Road – this cycleway is managed by Transport for NSW.

Pitt Street north – we consulted the community on this cycleway and work to make it permanent will begin early 2022.

Bridge Street, Railway Parade and Henderson Road – we consulted the community on this cycleway and work to make it permanent will begin early 2022.

Sydney Park Road – this cycleway is managed by Transport for NSW
