What we’re doing

We will plant 5 new trees in the roadway and 2 trees in the footpath at each end of Briggs Street in Camperdown.

Leopard wood (Caesalpinia ferrea) will be planted in the roadway and water gum (Tristanioposis laurina) in the footpath. These trees will provide shade and contribute to our area’s overall resilience in the face of a changing climate.

As part of these works 3 parking spaces will be removed

Our contractor QMC Group will carry out the works.

Steps will be taken to minimise impacts, but there will be some machinery noise and dust. There will also be temporary traffic and parking changes to provide access for construction materials and equipment.

We appreciate your patience as we complete these improvements.
