What we’re doing

The objective of the planning agreement is to secure public benefits in connection with the development application for the land.

The nature of the planning agreement is to deliver the community infrastructure identified in the Sydney Development Control Plan 2012 for the precinct including:

  • 2.4m widening of the footpath to McEvoy Street
  • 3m widening of the footpath to Bourke Street
  • 6m wide pedestrian link between Bourke and Young streets
  • monetary contribution of $342,655 towards other community infrastructure in the Green Square urban renewal area.
