This initiative would boost local businesses through a market on Friday evenings.

Our markets policy is expected to be reviewed in late 2021. As a result this proposed market licence is now on hold. We will consult our communities on all market sites in the local area after the policy is reviewed.

What we’re doing
The proposed licence would:
- be offered for an initial 12 months
- with the option to renew for up to 5 years.
- offer street food
- live entertainment
- providing an opportunity for the community to come together.
