Your feedback on new fencing at The Crescent Synthetic Sportsfield

What we’re doing

We are planning to amend the fencing around the synthetic sports field at The Crescent in Annandale.

We invite your feedback on these fencing improvements. Specifically, we’re proposing to increase the height of the existing fencing around the sports field and provide ball catching netting between the childcare centre and the field to increase safety.

The new ball catching netting will be 8m tall and will be set back between the footpath and existing trees to maintain the open space character of the park. The colour and material of the ball catching netting has been considered to reduce any adverse visual impact on the environment.
