When you need to do this
If you are riding a bike to or from work, or simply for leisure, you may want to use one of the many bike parking spaces in our city.
If you find there aren’t enough u-rails or bike rings in the City of Sydney's area, you can request us to look into it.

If all criteria such as sufficient space are met, new u-rails or bike rings will be installed.

Car parks and end of trip facilities
In addition to those marked on the above map:
- Kings Cross car park level 5 has 32 bicycle parking racks for free casual use. For more information email [email protected].
- Goulburn Street car park has 17 bicycle parking spaces (8 racks and 9 individual cages) for free casual use. There is also a secure cage with 24 spaces for free ongoing frequent use, subject to availability. For more information about availability and access to the secure cage email [email protected].
- 178B George Street, Sydney – This end of trip bicycle facility is now open and available to the public for casual use Monday to Friday, from 7am to 7pm. 24/7 access is available for monthly facility subscribers. For more information and to sign up please visit the operator’s website. Features of the facility include:
- 200 bike racks
- spaces for cargo bikes
- 400 lockers with electronic keypads
- streamline access via Pitt Street cycleway
- 14 male and 14 female showers
- unisex accessible bathroom and shower facilities
- a bike maintenance area.

- Note the conditions of use displayed at each car park in the bicycle area.
