In the Visiting entrepreneur program launch event Robyn Denholm will virtually sit down with Holly Ransom to discuss technology's role in sustainable energy and how we'll look to new technologies during this period of rebuilding.

Robyn has an extensive background in the auto and tech industries from senior executive roles at Toyota Motor Corporation and Telstra in Australia to Sun Microsystems and Juniper Networks in America. She is widely credited with leading a team that drove significant increases in Juniper’s revenues, overseeing its corporate transformation during her nine-year tenure as Chief Financial and Operations Officer.

Tesla’s fundamental focus is accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy which in turn will enable emissions reduction across an entire ecosystem. For Robyn, setting moonshot like goals go hand in hand with moving the whole industry forward.

  • The Future of Food: How Entrepreneurs are Innovating
    Thursday 18 June 2020

According to the CSIRO, we'll consume as much food in the next 4 decades as we did in the past few hundred years. This represents around a 70% increase in production by 2050. But that increase has come at a significant cost to the environment that isn't sustainable.

And in light of COVID-19, we need an honest public discussion on how to produce our food and a radical rethink on the consequences of a livestock-dominated food system.

How will food and agritech entrepreneurs meet the needs of a growing global population, whilst also committing to sustainable growth? Hear how groundbreaking innovators are tackling our growing food and environmental crisis. We are all familiar with the current global environmental crisis. Australia needs a better approach to radical ecosystem restoration before it’s too late.

Greening Australia’s vision for 2030 is to restore 200,000 ha of habitat, sequester 1 million tonnes of carbon, and establish 500 million native plants, to give our country, our people and our planet a fighting chance. No small task!

So, we asked the question…how might we use technology to colour Australia green?

    You are the solution!

This is a callout to technologists, entrepreneurs and environmentalists with one goal in common: leaving the planet better than you found it. Register now for this fully digital workshop. Places are limited.

    About us

Greening Australia is an environmental enterprise that thinks big to tackle the challenges facing Australia’s unique and diverse landscapes in ways that work for communities, economies and nature.
