From 1 July 2025 we’ve issued paper parking fines for vehicles where they’ve been parked illegally in the City of Sydney local area.
We can still issue ticketless fines in certain circumstances. You can find out more about those exemptions in the Fines Amendment (Parking Fines) Act 2024 (PDF 190 KB) and Fines Amendment (Parking Fines) Regulation 2025 (PDF 187 KB).
This report provides information on parking penalty notices we’ve issued, including the number of fines and the number withdrawn. It also includes when there were grounds for not attaching fine notices or notifications to vehicles.
