Cycling strategy and action plan 2018-2030


In the last decade, cycling trips have doubled and attitudes to cycling have shifted significantly. The City of Sydney is committed to making bicycle transport easier and safer, so it’s an attractive option for more people.

This strategy builds on the progress of the last 10 years and keeps us moving towards our target of 10% of all trips in the city to be made by bike.

On the Go: How women travel around our city


This study investigates the way women travel across Greater Sydney, with a focus on active transport. It investigates women's unique mobility needs and what drives women's active transport behaviours. It outlines the enabling factors and barriers that are shaping women's transport and makes recommendation for how to support women to walk and cycle.
