Library membership

Laser cutting services are only available to library members.

If you’re not already a member you can join online.

Join the library

Prepare your file for laser cutting

We accept these file types:

  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
  • Adobe PDF (.pdf)
  • Illustrator EPS (.eps)
  • Illustrator Template (.ait)
  • SVG (.svg)
  • SVG compressed (.svgz).

Cut lines must be RGB red 0.001mm. Etch lines must be RGB black.

Free vector editing software suites are available online including Inkscape and Vecteezy.

Access to the Adobe suite is available to library members in some of our branches (charges may apply). Call us on 02 9265 9333 to find out where.

We have a Trotec Speedy 100 Laser Cutter which can etch and cut a variety of materials based on your designs.

After you finish

We’ll let you know when your item is ready to collect.

Payment on collection is required. We charge your library membership when the laser cutting request is completed.

We accept eftpos or correct change only.
