Community consultation: 8 to 30 November 2018

We invited your feedback on a proposal to install 4 central median strips and plant 12 trees on Boyce Street, Glebe. The proposal is part of our commitment to improve our streets and provide more shade to help cool the city.

We aim to plant Angophora costata (Sydney red gum) to create an avenue of tall trees that will increase canopy cover and make the street more pleasant for residents. The tree species is determined by our street tree master plan.

The median strips would include safe places for people to cross at intersections. There are no changes to parking planned.
