When you need to do this
You can add another red (rubbish), yellow (recycling) or green (garden organics) lid bin to your existing waste service on this page.
Only ratepayers, property owners or managing agents in houses, and building or strata managers in apartment blocks can make changes to existing waste services. This is due to the domestic waste charge on rates notices.
If you want to begin a new waste service on a property that doesn't yet have one, contact us on 02 9265 9333 or [email protected]. To upsize or downsize a bin, repair or replace a bin, or remove a bin, you'll need to use a different form.

You need to log in to request another red lid bin as the change may affect the domestic waste charge on rates notices.
If your bin is missing, request a replacement.
Before you start
- Requests must be received by 2pm the business day before the next regular bin collection date or else they will be scheduled for the following week.
- Identify which bin size you require
Available bin sizes – The sizes available for rubbish, recycling and garden organics bins are pictured above. Please note, 50L and 70L bins are not available for apartment blocks or units and 660L and 1100L bins are not available for houses.
