For parents

Please note:

Pine Street Creative Arts Centre is not licensed to cater to children who are under 5 years of age and not yet attending primary school. If a younger child accompanies you when dropping off or picking up a child attending our programs, they must be supervised at all times.

  • Parents cannot remain in the studio once workshops have commenced.
  • Students must wear closed shoes at all times. Open-toe shoes are not permitted.
  • Sick children cannot be allowed into workshops. If a staff member identifies a student is unwell, parents will be called to collect their child.
  • Rules for behaviour are explained at the start of each course. Children are not to disrupt the learning of other students, and continued enrolment is conditional on behaviour.
  • Duty of care laws state that members of staff must not be alone with a child. Extra staff cannot be provided for early arrivals or late pick-ups. It is essential that children are dropped off and collected within operating hours
  • There are no child minding facilities at Pine Street. Children must be collected from class on time or a late fee may be charged.

Please read the parent’s handbook for further information.
