What you need to do

How to stream on Beamafilm

1. Visit our Beamafilm emovie portal or get the app

   • Visit our Beamafilm emovie portal. Enter your library card number with no spaces and click validate.
   • Get the app on Google Play.
   • Download the app on the App Store.

2. Browse emovies or search for an emovie title

   • Browse through new releases, popular movies, world cinema, documentaries and classic films. Search for a title using the search box at the top.
   • Click on the image of the emovie you want to view.

3. Watch emovies

   • Press play video to view your movie.
   • Stream movies anytime on your computer/device with internet access.

How to stream on Kanopy

Library members have 15 tickets each month to stream titles on Kanopy.

1. Visit our Kanopy emovie portal or get the app.

   • Get the app on Google Play.
   • Download the app on the App Store.

2. Create a Kanopy account

   If you already have a Kanopy account, click on login. In the pop-up window, enter your email and password. Click on login.

   If you don’t have a Kanopy account.

   • Click ‘add a library card’.
   • Enter your library card number with no spaces and PIN. Click ‘continue’.
   • Enter your first name, last name, email and chosen password. Click ‘sign up’.
   • You’ll be sent a verification email to your email address. Click ‘verify my email’ to continue your account set up.

3. Browse emovies or search for an emovie title

   • Browse through new releases, popular movies, world cinema, documentaries, classic films and television series. Search for a title using the search box at the top.
   • Click on the image you want to view.

4. Watch emovies

   • Press play video to view your movie. Once you’ve started playing your movie, you have 3 days (72 hours) to watch the film as many times as you want.
   • Stream movies anytime on your computer/device with internet access. Films can also be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device or platform by downloading the Kanopy app for iOS, Android, AppleTV or Chromecast.
   • You can track your available tickets from your account.
