Why we’re doing this
The draft operational plan 2021/22 details our projects and programs for the next 12 months, including the annual budget, proposed rates model and fees and charges.
The draft resourcing strategy (2021) identifies how we will use our resources – financial, workforce, asset management and technology – and engage our community to achieve our Sustainable Sydney 2030 goals.
What we’re doing
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant and devastating impact on our communities and our economy, as well as impacting the City of Sydney’s revenue and financial position.
We’re working to restore our financial position in line with our long-term financial plan and to meet our commitments to provide services and support to the community and businesses in the City of Sydney local area.
We responded swiftly when the pandemic first hit. Our actions throughout 2020 and ongoing are intended to complement the stimulus and support measures of the state and federal governments. We’re aiming to leverage the resources of the City of Sydney to ensure the safety and survival of our business, cultural and community sectors.
