Creative grants information session: video recording
We held an online creative grants information session on Tuesday 21 July. It covered the new grants program, what’s changed and the opportunities for artists, creatives and cultural organisations.
Discuss your project or idea
The grants team is here to help. 15-minute time slots available, 14 July to 31 August.
Our creative grants program supports artists, creatives and cultural organisations to develop ideas and projects that enrich Sydney’s cultural life.
There are 3 funding categories – creative projects, artist support and cultural infrastructure.
These categories were developed to meet the needs of the sector and align with our cultural strategy.
The program aims to:
- grow Sydney’s creative workforce
- support professional practicing artists to continue living and working in the city
- improve access to affordable and suitable creative spaces.
We prioritise projects that tell Sydney’s stories, are led by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and organisations, reflect our diverse communities and reach new audiences.
