Creative spaces
We provide low-cost creative spaces for people who work in the arts, culture and creative industries to produce, rehearse and develop work.
We also fund the creation of new creative spaces or cultural venues, or upgrade of existing ones.

Creative grant programs
Our creative grants program supports artists, creatives and cultural organisations to develop ideas and projects that enrich Sydney’s cultural life.
Creative projects and artist support are part of our main funding round. They open for applications in late July each year with funding available from 1 January.
The cultural infrastructure category is open year-round until the budget is exhausted.

Our art programs
We commission permanent and temporary works. These works bring laneways, plazas, parks and cultural precincts to life, making ordinary corners of our city more interesting and intriguing.
We also have a dedicated conservation program that ensures artworks remain vibrant for future generations.
