What we’re doing

We operate 17 community centres and library spaces that offer activities and services to support the community.

These spaces provide valuable centres for social connection and affordable access to a range of lifelong learning, creative, cultural, health and wellbeing activities.

We’re seeking feedback to make sure our activities and services meet the needs of our communities. We’re keen to hear from people who visit our centres and from people who don’t.

Why we’re doing this

Our community recovery plan provides a clear, staged approach to how we’re supporting economic and social recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. As part of the recovery plan, we made a commitment to provide affordable and accessible activities, services and spaces to support health and wellbeing, digital literacy and social inclusion.

The pandemic has changed the way people access our services. It has changed the type of activities people want to find in our centres. And it has changed the way people want to participate.

We’d like your help to make sure we’re meeting the changing needs of our communities. We’re inviting you to share your thoughts and ideas on the activities and services offered in our community centres and libraries.

If you visit these spaces, use a service or participate in an activity currently offered, we want to hear your feedback on what you do now and what else you would like to do.

If you haven’t visited one of our spaces, we want to know what would encourage you to drop in or take part in an activity.

You’ll find more information below about the centres, services, and activities currently on offer. Our centres are open to all, and all are welcome.

Your feedback will help us shape our future plans.
