In the heart of bustling Crown Street, the contemporary library spans 2 floors of an impressive building that has won a swag of architectural awards for its sustainable design.

Temporary closure

Our libraries as well as Glebe and Kings Cross neighbourhood service centres will be closed on Friday 5 December for a staff development day.

You can continue to renew and reserve items, as well as access our extensive online digital collection.

After-hours return chutes are available at Glebe, Green Square, Newtown, Surry Hills, Ultimo and Waterloo branches.
