Kirsova 2 Playground upgrade

Kirsova 2 Playground upgrade

Improvement works at Kirsova 2 Playground are complete. The playground was reopened to the public in September 2018.

We invite your feedback on the proposed design to upgrade Kirsova 2 Playground in George Street, Erskineville.

The renewal works will improve the reserve for everyone to enjoy.

The plan includes:

  • a paved entry area to improve access to the park
  • new play equipment, including swings, see-saw and nature play features
  • rubber soft fall and mulch
  • an open turf area with new turf
  • garden beds with colourful plants, shrubs and grasses
  • new furniture, including seating, a drinking fountain and bin
  • a new timber fence on the northern side of the park – fencing will be maintained along George Street.

The existing mature trees will be protected during this work.
